DiamondBack air indexer being a little sluggish??
« on: September 16, 2015, 04:40:37 PM »
Hey guys, just wondering if anyone out there has had their index all of the sudden seem sluggish mid way through, or hesitating. It's not the air, there is no leaking around any of the indexer's air connections. I don't see anything binding, or catching. The only thing I see is crap ton of grease built up from the past 8 years around that indexing ring under everything. Any clues? The air cylinder seems to be pumping away just fine, just something is giving it a little more feed back than normal.

Thanks
Mike

Could just be a worn cylinder or seals, air blowing by the piston. Put air to one side remove line from other end and see if any is coming out.

Maybe you should just upgrade to a GIII or something
