Flood Bars? Does this look familiar?

That is close to what I have...cobbled up regular floodbars with galvanized sheet metal attached.

The are variable and inconsistent. If they go on the same head every time, I'm golden. If not, they are a setup time suck.

I've probably paid for a set of decent floods that are exact clones of each other in the time I've wasted. Your shop might be a better fit for the ones I use, but I dislike them.

We love them and have had no problem. I saw someone was selling some that were made by M&R for a large amount.

It looks like a flood bar that we have for our svecia (graphics) press. Also i believe AWT had similiar floods too.

I went back into the press area yesterday and found Tiffany running a 100 pc job on roller frames... with tape only at the top of the screen.  The sides were open.

we use a 18" scoop coater, so there is still a bit of open area on either side, but the winged floods do such a good job of keeping the ink in the center that she's now getting away with running jobs with no tape on the sides...

and the screens aren't getting messy, so looks like it's a win win.
