Epson 4800 Error code 1001B

Had this error come up the other day and done a Power Clean and a few more cleans from pc and it started working fine, printed out a good bit of art. Left the printer on through the night and come in this afternoon and there is the error code again It says the print head is overheated and needs to be replaced. Has anyone had this error and may know a work around or something? I think I will turn the printer off tonight and just leave it off until I print out tomorrow afternoon if I can get it to print again. It printed great for a while and now this..... Any help would be truly appreciated!!!

I had this with our old 4000 printer. In the end we had to replace the print head.

Won`t help you much as I`m in Japan.
It wasn`t pretty though. I think back then it was around US$500.
Never had the same problems with our 4880, but therefor other trouble;)

my GUESS is it will cost more to replace the head than buying another used printer . . . use searchtempest.com and find one in your area.
