Ever Seen One Of These??
« on: September 26, 2011, 09:36:33 PM »
Anatol makes a 2 color 6 station....  8)

Yup 2 Color, 6 Station. This press is a Horizon with Servo Drive, and AC Print Heads.

I installed this machine last week. The customer plans on printing bags with it.... Lots of Bags!!

This automatic is basically 2 machines in one. It requires 4 operators. Two loaders and two un-loaders. The customer expects to output 12,000 one color bags per day!!!  :o

You can’t see it, but there is another Servo/AC Horizon in the background that they use for their multi color designs, plus 2 or 3 old M&R presses. For anyone that does large quantities of one color designs regularly, this is a machine to check out!!!

For one color stuff that would be pretty fast with a couple of people loading and unloading.

Could even do print flash print, but it would cut production in half... but also labor. ;)

No need to flash for bags. Run that baby wide open with loaders and unloaders and do twice the amount of bags.

I assumed you were transitioning to a conversation about shirts since 1 color bags and the speed had already been touted. :p

so you have 2 unload stations, one on each side? how do you position it near the dryer? I turned down a job that this thing would have been the cats pajamas for. . .50k a month, one color prints. weird items though.
...keep doing what you're doing, you'll only get what you've got...

Was that custom built to customer spec? Is it in their regular product line?

If there is only one dryer, the takeoff next to dryer goes directly on. On the other side, you need a flash after the print and stack the finished pieces. You will need a "runner" to put them through the dryer when stack gets high. It takes extra people, but the productivity is excellent. It is not double because with only one control station it requires coordination between the operators. The machine has to run a little slower, but not much.

RPM has a video on their site of an old flatstock press or a Multiprinter head retrofitted with
essentially the pallet system of a manual press. Pretty slick and a darn sight cheaper I'd bet!

I could see this being huge with certain companies.  A lot of people run 1 color work and this would fit the bill.  I think that Anatol also has a small 3 color press.  I've thought about that for a lot of the 1 or 2 color work we do.  It's tiny and would fit in the corner and we could run the crap out of that while the bigger press ran more colors.

My price list only goes down to a 4/6, but I think it is considered a standard product.
