Not an ID, but something similar without the distress
« on: September 03, 2015, 04:20:36 PM »
This is called Carnival Freakshow, and I want it, or something like it, solid. They want it outlined, and distress don't play that game.
I know it's out there, maybe even deep in my font collection.

Thanks in advance.
That rug really tied the room together, did it not?

Not sure how much type you have to set but you can try this then do the below:
http://www.dafont.com/circus.font

If you don't want the inside effects in the text then you can delete after closing paths of the font.

If you don't want the shadowing then drop it onto a black background/box after setting the type. Close paths of font so no longer live. Weld/merge it all together then delete the black, this will leave you with just the inner/white text. Change to whatever color you want. Then do a outline or offset path for your outline effect.

That circus style is not nearly close enough.
The carnival is more like a western Saloon or something. Thanks for playing though.
Turns out to not matter anyway as, first, he was willing to drop the outline he wanted because he liked the distress more, but them sprang an unreasonable deadline which sank the job anyway.
