What is everyone using for your cotton white...
« on: August 04, 2015, 12:55:05 PM »
We are looking for a cotton white to use that will give us good coverage and work as an efficient under base as well.   For poly we love the 7113 Performance Pro LB White but we need something for our day to day 100% cotton work....If it works on 50/50 that is a plus as well....Keep in mind we still print manually in our shop....Any and all help and recommendations are greatly appreciated.  Thanks guys!

So... if you want it to work on a 50/50 then you are really asking for a low bleed ink that prints great across all t shirts.

A Lot of us use Street Fighter LB from Rutland or Quick white from Wilflex with lots of manufacturer variability after that.

Who are your distributors and what ink brands do they carry?

We use White dream from texsource.  It works good on 50\50 and cotton and is under $50 per gallon.

We use International Coatings 711 white. Works great on 50/50 blends with no die migration. Its creamy and prints easily manually.  I find it to print better than some other 100% cotton inks, so we use it on both 50/50 and 100%. It's not the cheapest ink though, but it's been very consistent for us for several years now.

I just tested some QCM 142 that laid down real nice on some g5000s, ink was creamy, didn't seem to climb the squeegee but it didnt look to bright white in the bucket but the resulting print was good. Im gonna try on some ringspuns and see how it does with matte down.

Still battling through the 70 gallons of  Olympia White we got from Wilflex for free. That`s a good white. Once that`s used up we will probably go for Wilflex Sprint White or the Warrior White.
