Ok, I've moved the rear yellow pallet lock downs to the back holes and the pallets seem much more stable that way "Thanks Mike". 

On another note, I'm seriously confused now.   Out of 12 pallets arms I have 5 that print perfectly in the center on the pocket pallets, even using different pocket pallets they still printed in the center.  On the other side of that, pallets arms 2  and 3, the print is slightly off to the right.  Pallet arms 4, 5 10,11 and 12 print  to the very right edge of the pallet. 

Could this be press registration even though it holds registration great on multicolor jobs?

Could be the splitting of the arms during the install. If we did the install let me know and I will pull the records.

Rich, you all did the install but this was in 2010.  I don't want to be unfair to you.  I do only have 140,000 and some change impressions on it.  If this is considered normal, I will pay for a tech.  Just let me know.

Put the regular pallets on the press, print something and measure the edge of the image to the edge of the pallet on each one. If it varies the pallet arms are off a little. It's hard to see on full sized pallets but when your printing a 4-1/2" image on a 5" pallet it shows right away

How much is it off? I can't imagine its off even a quarter inch. How picky is that client...

Point being is it will tell you if it's the pallets or the press. 1/4" on a left chest you will never notice but if your doing a pocket using sleeve pallets it could be the difference of printing in the center or off to the side or even over the edge of the pallet.

I totally see what Brian is saying, we experienced the same thing. I thought the same way, who would ever notice right? But like Brian is saying if you are printing a 4.3" sleeve print on a 4.5" pallet, it ain't happening...

I said this before in this thread, but lasers are your friend.

set up a laser to point at the side of the pallet...

index your press, and see where the laser falls...

It doesn't matter what your doing lasers are a must, just saying.
