Microsoft account needed to get an attachment?
« on: April 10, 2015, 04:04:59 PM »
What's up with this?
I click on what is supposed to be an attachment, and it goes to an Outlook sign-in page.

What is the client doing that makes this a necessity?
That rug really tied the room together, did it not?

It is either a place to get a "virus" or whoever sent the email to you tried to attach from their Outlook account rather than saving to their desktop and attaching from there....Probably the latter.....

A very computer-challenged client with a Hotmail email account.
I was wondering if it was a Hotmail issue, but you think it's something she's doing in Outlook.Either way, a lot of trouble.

She is trying to attach and attachment that is in her mail box....Just the wrong way to do it.....She needs to save the attachment to her computer and then attach it.....Or just forward the email with the attachment..
