Help with new dryer
«
on:

I am about to buy a new dryer. Gas, belt width 72" (180cm), 60" inlet and outlet. (150cm)
I have two options, a 3 yd (3 m) or 4 yd (4 m) oven.
According to the manufacturers specs the 3 yd should be enough but these specs are not always reliable.
I'll be running 2 automatics through one oven. We print mainly plastisol.
Which one should I get?

We run two automatics to one gas dryer 1,50m wide, 3m long heat area. I took longer inlet (3 m), and outlet is 1,5m like yours.
Only bottle neck situation is discharge on one machine and super fast plastisol print on another.

Might wish to consider a split belt if available.

The longer the chamber the higher the garments per hour you can run. Think higher belt speed.
