I checked what the font. no deal.

I rooted through a type catalog with most major font houses in it and couldn't find anything remotely close.
Work is the curse of the drinking class . . .

It looks like an MLB font I've seen, maybe the Diamondbacks?

Hmmmm.  well,  I can try and duplicate what I needed but the customer also wanted to know what kind/font name it was for future use. The previous artist said he didn't remember what it was...and got it on What the font or some place as a free download. I didn't see it on What the font.

I will need to dig deeper

Actually reminds me of the game Quake font but bolder. It must be a Modern Gothic font just a matter of digging for it.

It's called wolf's bane, it's available on abstract fonts.com

HA!  That was it. Imagine that. First time I ever asked for a font and someone found it the same day.
