M&R pallet question
« on: April 16, 2015, 11:35:57 PM »
Hey folks. So I finally got a job where i'll be using my sleeve pallets for actual sleeves instead of pockets (which is what they're used for 99% of the time).
It never dawned on me that my little securing levers weren't correct and don't tighten down flush with the pallet since I never needed to worry about it until now.
How do I go about fixing this? Pic for reference of how they are now.

Move the levers to a loose position and turn the nuts back an equal amount, maybe a quarter turn each, and try locking them down. This should move them in closer to your board.

if you're doing short sleeves, just move your art 'out' or 'up' on the screen so that the hem of the sleeve doesn't hit the lever area..  you'll likely have a hard time getting a small over the platen mounting bracket and arm.

but I also agree with FarmBoy....  you can certainly adjust the levers a bit... I had to do that to tighten a few of ours that got loose over time.  nice thing too is that it helps not catch the really small shirts as well.

At least on the older models (2) 1/2" wrenches will make the adjustment

Thanks for the replies!
I'll give those fixes a try and that should remedy it.

On the newer cams we molded the stud into the handle so only one wrench is needed. Just a FYI.
