Go commercial, spend the money once. We've had the same one for 20 years, with one rebuild of it (new pump) in that time. Plenty 'o pressure. PSI and GPM go together, your nozzle will have to match up with the GPM if I'm remembering correctly. 1000 PSI or better will certainly do the job.

1 month ago I bought a refurb Landa 1000psi 2.8gal commercial belt drive unit.

not only is it far quieter than the crappy ones I had been buying... the cleaning power is SO much better...

- the screens come cleaner faster and there's less hazing.
- there's less crap in the washout booth to clean up (the emulsion literally just turns to dust sized particles instead of coming off in sheets.

I'll never buy another crappy one again.

I've always heard belt drive is always better than direct for longevity. I would really like to do it one time from here out. Steve, what brand is yours? I see northstar makes a wall mount belt driven unit too.
