Wilflex Whites for automatic shops

Well, I couldn't get decent coverage, mat down, or opacity on any white through 225 without PFP.

EVER...

But I'd sure like to!

Did you use to stir your Quick White and just quit recently?

I'm going to try 10º and a faster, lighter print stroke. I already do a heavy flood, so I'll leave that alone. I already use S-mesh for whites...either 134 or 150 TPI x 48 micron threads. @~19 to 21 newtons, statics.

Quick just seems so stiff. It hardly "levels" on the manual at all, and even less on my Gauntlet.

That's why I was wondering about power stirring.

I never mix my quick anymore. I have an auto mixer, like a turnabout, but use it just for our actual mixing with the PC wilflex system.

I coat 2 on the shirt side and one on the squeegee side with the round end of a monster max coater. I burn my screens on a starlight for 6.6 secs for ulano orange. I can feel a pretty good gasket when washed out. My Nazdar rep says it feels great, but is not a real technical guy to give great technical printing advice.

I didn't seam to have this many problems with white until around the first of this year, then white went all to hell for us. I have printed about 75k prints since January and am getting frustrated about sending out not top notch white.  I don't have any real problems with white and a top color or colors. We do simulated  process weekly with no problems using quick white thru 225's, but it's the white, flash, white. Either white in revolver, or white on two heads.

What squeegee duro? How long has your white been sitting around?

Quick white kills it here for us...... I would say tho, some of the dye lately ( expecially from some countries, even %100 cotton ) has been a bit all over the place. 50/50 red........depending on the brand my need a grey blocker.

I will say with Quick white, I have had some really good luck with some of the new tech-tees, that have been labeled "bad bleeders".

70/90/70 squeegee. I replaced it soon after the problem started with a new blade, but that made no difference.

We go thru a 5 every 2 weeks, so ink does not sit around long at all. Most has been manufactured this year.

I haven't stirred Quick since last year this time.

I'm going to try faster stroke and less pressure today and report back how it went.

FYI there is a bad lot of Quickwhite out there. We ran into a thin batch and they are picking it up and exchanging it. Take a pic of the label and send to your rep, They should take it back if it falls under the same lot.
