About to print my first sim process...

Printing my first simulated process print tomorrow, an 8 color recreation of a really nice sea life painting.  I output my films at 55LPI, 22.5 angle, and was planning on running 225S for the base white and 305 for the rest.  Blade-wise, I will be using a smiling jack for the UB and red/white/blue triples for the tops.

Anything I should change as far as the above goes?  Or anything else I should be looking for as I dive into the deep end of sim process?

Yes, we've won our share of awards, and yes, I've tested stuff and read the scientific papers, but ultimately take everything I say with more than just a grain of salt! So if you are looking for trouble, just do as I say or even better, do something I said years ago!

it's all in the seps. I printed some seps from Scott @ myseps, I could have used a 2x4 and window screen and it would have been badass....good luck, take notes and pics!

I follow the same philosophy...its the seps.

Well Scott did the seps and Pierre did the pre-game coaching, so it would seem I really have no excuses if I screw this up.   :o

Pic attached of the 20th test shirt off the press.  Following this I had to add another screen for the top color on the text, due to there being no trap on it in the seps.  Once that was in place, it was off to the races.  The actual run was on navy and black tees. 

Still lots (and lots) of room to improve but I'm happy with it as a first go, and the artist was happy with the results which meant a lot.  I learned a lot on this run and am already looking forward to the next one.  Thanks again to Pierre for sharing a bit of his wisdom with me prior to the run.

I just have to say, that your outstanding first sim process effort notwithstanding, there is little chance, to save the Sharks, or their season, and we're probably looking at the first time since '03-'04 that they won't go to the post season.  :(

As a south Floridian, that nearly went right over my head.  The only sharks we know are at the beach.   ;D

Nice job on your first round. Don't let the others kid you. You can get good seps and print them very incorrectly. It's just that most all of our guys here print well.
