Just got some samples in, anyone ever use this ink before?

I have been told that it is same as Rutland K2, possible as they work both with Zydex industrie.

I am eager to read some review as well, any reason why didn't you choose Rultand HS-A ?

Our rutland reps have been really really really really hesitant sending us samples. And we aren't really sure why. They came by our shop, and were trying to sell us more on their new line of "silky" ink, than Rutland HSA, so I just started looking for alternatives until we can take the plunge!

Also union is supposed to have an HSA too, but i guess they aren't ready yet, or that's what we've been told

I used it for a bit when I only used WB inks about 5 years ago, and liked it then as it got me as close to plastisol as possible without using plastisol.  We still use it for specific jobs here and there and have never had an issue with it.  It also has one hell of a shelf life as we are using the same buckets from 5 years ago.

I was told recently by an industry insider that Gen4 is manufactured in India and is very spotty in regards to consistency, which is why not many are pushing it.

We tested Gen4 7 years ago. It was great to print, opaque, stable on screen. However, dutch guy thinking of distributing it Europe, changed his mind. It was/is made by Zydex, huge Indian Chemical company. Huge by screenprinter standards, of course
