Like i said Steve it seemed even by his own admission the admin already had a bone to pick with Jason, doesn't make it right but explains things a bit better.

i sent god i mean fred a personal email last night appologizing and he let me back in. It seem everyone over there, pretty much everyone, is MR. PERFECT. Very anal and very judgemental as you could see from there leader which is mild compared to his followers. I post for some help on scobeys font id, im wondering what kind of responce i will get. More than likely a negative one from most im guessing.

Then why are you apologizing to them over there and bad mouthing them over here?
Don't answer that. I don't want to know.

If you really want to flash back to 8th grade insecurity and peer acceptance issues, try posting your shirt art on Mintees (formerly Emptees). Many of those artist are barely out of diapers but will make you cry with their art critiques. But holy sh!t, there are are some talented people over there.

FBP-I just have a bad habit of screwing with people that screw with me first thats all.
Inkman-His bone to pick was the video that i posted in the wrong area.
Steve- thanks and yes an answer of that sort would have been better espically from the admin, come to find out he owns a clipart site so my help was a burn on him i guess.
Inkwerks-Agreed!
Shanarchy-I'll tell you anyway, it is because i dont like being ban from something when i feel i did nothing wrong and if an appology gets me back in then so be it, simple.
Homer-I know your thoughts.... ;D

Anyways so far only one person has helped with the font search and thats really all i can expect i guess.

Well Jason, it looks like you got a small amount of help on your font ID ... of course working with just one character can make it a bit hard. http://www.signs101.com/forums/showthread.php?t=84980. I can tell you that I took the time to try an ID against my database of more than 40K fonts and came up empty.

I wonder though if you'd really like to have the other side of the story from yesterday laid out here? Did you really not understand how much time you wasted yesterday for our members and for me? How much disregard you showed for what the Elk Clipart original poster had requested. He had asked for help in locating the original artwork. Nothing more and nothing less. Your response was to auto trace his degraded example as a solution as well as send him to a couple of clipart sites where the artwork definitely wasn't. You then drew a comment from me and decided to escalate things and inform me of what you really think of Signs 101. Finally you uploaded some random artwork of an elk that again was a waste of time for anyone involved in the thread.

And earlier when you posted a link to a 1 hour and 20 minute 9/11 conspiracy diatribe in our open forums (where political posts are expressly prohibited) saying that "you found this interesting" ... are you saying that I somehow did you wrong when I moved it to a political section where it is allowed, only to have you post it again in an open forum where I had to delete it.

So I decided to help you out, since you apparently have little use for Signs 101, and remove your access by banning you. It could have ended there but you next decided to send some moderately offensive emails and submit a fraudulent registration to try to get back in. When that failed, you emailed an apology which I accepted and lifted the ban. It now appears that doing so may not have been in the best interests of Signs 101.

At any rate, my purpose in replying is simply to air a response to the notion that Signs 101 is somehow full of hateful, mean spirited members (and admins). In my view, that simply isn't true. What is true is that we screen out certain individuals from joining. Namely end users seeking to avoid dealing with a professional sign company but seeking help from those he or she won't pay for professional products and services. When someone lies to gain access and is discovered, our members do tend to get pretty harsh with them. And as with any large group of people, there are times when a fool  or someone wanting to be spoon fed is not suffered.

For those instances, I make no apology. For all our supposed meanness, we continue to be the highest traffic sign industry website on the internet. That is largely the result of controlling our membership demographic and, as a result, having a wealth of great information and at need help when it's needed.

And yes Jason, I own a clipart site and the art in question was not available there. Since the OP had indicated he had already checked there in his opening post, there wasn't much need for me to comment on that. However, you are treading on thin ice to imply that your "help" was somehow a burn for me. In addition, my bones to pick with you are several. Frankly I find your other posts largely designed to be offensive, inflammatory and far from being helpful or adding much to what Signs 101 is to most members. But that's just me as a person. As an admin, it takes a lot to take me to the point you reached yesterday. But keep it coming and I'm sure we will reach that point again in due course.

Hi fred, I knew it would only be a matter of time before you showed up here, welcome. I dont care if you air it out here as you already did. I have no clue of the history of you or the people that ask for help on your heavenly forum but i did find your statements harsh and uncalled for and then all the tool bags chime in on top of your coat tails which  i expected. At any rate im so sorry for all of this and wish that i could retract everything that i have said but alas i cannot and so i'm screwed. again im sorry and i appologize to all involved and to the members of this board and to you fred.

Welcome Fred hopefully you and Jason can get a long enough so that you could contribute if needed on this site. Tho it is not sign specific there is a bunch here involved in that trade.

I am not an admin but I would like to say I think what has gone down between you and Jason is now best left between the two of you and really has no place in this drama free forum,  you both got your side of the stories in and hope that is enough. If I was an admin i would lock this thread and lit it die!

Hey Fred

Glad to have you join up, even if it was just to straighten out things with Jason (or us about Jason)

Jason is one of our "Special Needs Kids" and I understand both your concern and consternation. He doesn't always play well with others, but does mean well.

He has caused me more than one headache in the past as well. Even this thread was less than completely comfortable for me.

As I said, he usually means well, but lacks certain social skills sometimes. He does, usually come around though.

So, don't be a stranger, as we do always seem to have a few flat-stockers, as well as shirt printers who eventually want to try their hand at posters, or coroplast yard signs.

Oh crap, there goes the artwork I was going to ask for as a favor.  :o

Jason, you know damn well that not only do you often push the envelope of acceptance and tolerance, but you seem also to enjoy getingt things going (remember our lesson on trollism?)

I stand by my statements, but in no way were they meant as throwing you under the bus, even a cool old VW carTOON!
I was happy to see you join up here, I accept your personality, and as I said to Fred, you mean well, and often jump in to help eagerly. You can be a real asset to the forum(s), you just need a check valve on your liability settings sommetimes.

Chill buddy. You of all people should have a fairly thick skin.  :-*

Thank you Frog and Inkman966 for the welcome. I've done some screen printing in days gone by. Even owned an old Filbar press. Most everything then was solvent based and I still wonder at times about the stuff I've breathed in and dipped my hands into. I'll certainly add TheShirtBoard to my surfing and invite any of you here that print for a living to stop by Signs 101.
