Since you asked for those two brands I will say murakami aquasol ts. It's a photopolymer that we use with diazo here and it's an amazingly great emulsion from what I've seen. One of my top emulsions right now actually and highly recommended. I couldn't really find anyone that stocked it but contact Alan here from murakami and he can get you setup. But that emulsion does everything I want of one emulsion and much much more.

Have you tried the SP 1400 Danny?  How would the TS compare?  I stopped using the HVP due to sticking from humidty (not bad, but it happened) and the loss of super fine detail on some stencils.  It also just didnt hold up to DC as well as I wanted with my expo unit.  The 1400 takes longer to expose but it is FANTASTIC in every other way for me, and dirt cheap.

If I were going back to a photopolymer, I'd use Murakami's HVP. I liked the "see thru" visibility of the pink -- made setups on lower mesh counts easier.
I've been using Saati Grafic HU dual-cure for a couple of years now. Very easy reclaim, very good detail, can be used with solvent, plastisol, and some waterbased. Lasts 90 days after mixing if kept out of a hot environment. I've not done any long-run waterbased to test how well it holds up, or with discharge.
My biggest beef with the HVP was a tendency to break down into gummy, stringy hunks in reclaim that were harder to clean out. It depended upon the ink used. I have the same trouble to some degree at the shop in Daytona I work at part-time with Tubelite's photopolymer emulsion.

Saati Chem PHU.  That stuff is great.  Using 2 years now. Have tried about everything and just can't find anything close.  Seems like the sp 1400 is popular which I have never tried.  Going to see if I can get a sample.  How's the viscosity on that stuff?

I'm stuck on CCI WR-25. For everything.

We all seem to have moved away from it....except ME!

I see nothing wrong with it, so until I do, Ima stay put.

I'm a low volume shop so I divide the gallons of emulsion into 5 evenly filled containers and I weigh out the diazo into 5 bottles. My emulsion is always fresh. I can weigh down to 100th of a gram.

And its RIDICULOUS cheap.

We are testing Ulano Orange this coming week on the new Workhorse LED.  We have been using Textile PV forever but I am hoping that Orange will give a little bit quicker exposure times.
