Pierre, I never knew any of that about him, only knew of my experiences with him, I wasn't part of the other board you mentioned, so I hadn't been privy to that info. I would say anyone wanting to still use the old 3000 just do your research with companies that no the machine and are regularly involved with the use and rebuilding/repairing of them. My experience with IJDR was great and that's all I can go by.

please don't take this the wrong way. I was just sharing my thoughts with everybody here. This is a personal decision that I chose to make, and most certainly, do not think that my beliefs should be pushed on anybody else. I value integrity and honesty which I have experienced first hand with sigmo. I chose to spend a few bucks extra to support that.  For all I know, IJDR could be a fine fellow, I just did not care for his antics on the old board. . .

Yes, we've won our share of awards, and yes, I've tested stuff and read the scientific papers, but ultimately take everything I say with more than just a grain of salt! So if you are looking for trouble, just do as I say or even better, do something I said years ago!

Peirre, do you have a link for sigmo, it's always good to have options, and it's good to see someone on one of these boards with integrity. There are far too many people out there these days with a lack, there of. All the best to  ya!

Awesome, bookmarked, I'm glad to have the contact now. It's a bad day when the film can't be printed!

Hi Terry ole pal! Hey, I use a 3000 that is all i've ever used. But i use non-waterproof film and never had an issue. I had it refurbed by sigmo last year. I'm having an issue with it right now cutting off my prints but I think it is a software or driver issue.
