Printing on Bathing Suits

Any advice on printing on bathing suits? This is for a Swim team so it'll be a whole lot of time in chlorinated water, I'm thinking Sublimation by the manufacturer is about the best way, but wondering if anybody here has experience/knowledge.

I print on lots of running gear which has high amounts of spandex and lycra and what not.  One Stroke's bravo flex with stretch additive does a great job on it so far.  Not sure how it would react to chlorine though.  From what I've read, the chlorine will mess with vinyl's, even if they are made for swimsuits.  I know stahls has one or two that are advertized for it, but have seen complaints on forums in the past.

I never heard a complaint from folks for whom I used Gorilla Grip, but it is nasty stuff to work with if there is any detail in the design.

I've done Solutions Opaque (print/cut material) and have not had any complaints, but in fairness I've never seen what they look like after, but customer (middle man) says they have been fine. we do only small logo (1.5"), but I would think that if its a big logo, Sublimation would be the only way to go. Anything on the suit I would think would slow a swimmer down.

Granted I haven't googled and read, but hell, I have never ever bought something from an outfit like Amazon, or Newegg, that didn't have both five star and one star reviews.


*Okay, I just found an old negative post on T-Shirt Forum, but then he added "We actually don't have a lot of luck with transfer vinyl on many applications... VERY Discouraging." so he may have more issues than Gorilla Grip II on swim suits.
