Pffft!

I could do that if I WANTED TO!!!

Self Education is hard.

But it's WHY I come to this forum.  If I remember correctly, Mr. Campbell sepped the ONLY SIMPRO DC's I've printed that I was really proud of. I've done a couple myself with the help of UltraSeps that weren't too bad...but I'd like to get past "not too bad,"

I wish I could REALLY get beyond some problems I have above my ears, but I'm not exactly sure what they are. Its one thing to know what you DON'T know. It's entirely another to NOT KNOW what you don't know.

When you're early in the process, you need to go to press to see what you're getting before you can dig in to see what to fix. This is considering that your press is set up right, meshes are right and tensioned correctly, and equally, and the rest. Then your seps can be evaluated..."my reds are too intense" or "I wish I could combine these two channels" can be done easily, once you know how. Dan has sepped a bazillion jobs, so you would expect it to be expert.

BTW seps by the one and only Joe Doria. We've worked together on projects for more than a decade. Industry secret: probably the best in the biz

WOW.  Nice print.  I separated that very same art a couple years back. Don't remember for who, but ours turned out as good, but with visible halftone dots so I love yours even more. The Co. used Plastisol at the time.

no base no flash

Base peeking out under yellow? DC base/plastisol top? Looks like it from the slight sheen, one of the things I love about DC ubase,
the finish halfway between plastisol shine and wb matte.
