I-Image ST Minimum Temperature
« on: January 12, 2015, 06:58:02 PM »
While there is nothing about temperature or  humidity for this CTS, I assume about 55F and 30-40% humidity are the lowest you would want to go?

Would 50F be fine? We wouldn't have the warehouse set lower but it could get that cold.

Not sure about the cold, but be careful running a heater. Last week we had a cold snap, yeah even here in FL, lol. Turned the heat on in that room and it loosened up some of the grease on the rails and dripped off onto a screen while imaging, which in turn got on the print head, made a bit of a mess. Thankfully it's easy to get to everything and clean it up and get it back rocking, but lesson learned. Too much heat will loosen up that grease in there.  ;D

Ideal operating conditions are above 30% RH. 40%+ is best.
Temp doesn't matter to much, we have them in Honduras where conditions are less then ideal 100f+.

My guess is the rapid heat up loosened up extra grease. .. Once removed the heart will not effect it again.

Sounds good, thanks.  Not like we will let pipes freeze that are in the warehouse along the wall, just wasn't sure since it wasn't in the manual.

I don't think we have a max on humidity. Minimums are required but maximum I personally have never heard of a problem.

We do not have a posted max, but if your I-image is in the same room as your screens (often is) you do not want your screens sitting in 80% RH. They will take forever to dry and not expose well.
(If using film this is when you typically see people complain about sticking issues)

Never checked the Humidity out in our warehouse but our i-Image ST is out there and it gets as low as 35 degrees out there to has high as 110-115 in there.
