Squeegee help please
« on: December 15, 2014, 11:37:06 AM »
I can't get the rubber out of this squeegee. I've taken the nuts off the bolts, but these dudes are stuck. I have no clue how long they've been in there as these are the squeegees from the gauntlet II I just purchased.

Help!

Never mind I got it. Just beat the bolts out. Still tight but it works

Sometimes these get over tightened & it permanently bends the metal in. Or worse yet the bolt shears off. ( this can really suck if the bolt is now bent & stuck.)

Whenever "beating" on a bolt or machine screw, put the nut on it loosely to take the hits and reduce possibility of damaging threads.

Also, a C-clamp can be used as a removal press with a socket used as a collar over the head.
That rug really tied the room together, did it not?
