I may not be the best judge on quality because I am using HP pigment ink, and find these films (and the ones from Victory Factory, and a bunch of others, scratch or rub off too darn easily.
I am trying the Kimoto UC-5 right now, and it may live up to its claim of better scratch resistance. I was just going over pricing as I noticed the post. How Appropriate.
I am accepting the fact that I may need to spend a little more, but if it holds up, it's worth it.

Lotsa folks here have tried the Fixxons and like it, and they give a generous sample (I got a 10' roll) so there are no real surprises.

What do others say with their Epson or aftermarket inks?

I've used both Victory Factory and Fixxons. One thing I found is using Victory film is in combination with Tubelite's TLX emulsion, it'll pull the coating off the film . . . not just the ink but the coating. Leaves a rough finish on the emulsion that you've got to rub off in washout. The film's a bitch to pull off, too. Haven't tried it yet with Fixxon's. I'm just getting into a new box.

TPit - we have the same issue with fixxons film, but the problem is humidity.  A dehimidfier solves it. I use a little baby powder too, keeps the film from sticking.
...keep doing what you're doing, you'll only get what you've got...

My screen room/darkroom is dehumidified. Runs constantly. The roughness is only when using Tubelite TLX emulsion. Never happens with Ulano QX-1. The only other thing it could be is the combination of Victory film and TLX.
