moved my shop and heres a pic of the darkroom project
« on: September 01, 2011, 04:22:10 PM »

Yeah its a box big deal... but another local printer gave me the idea for the screen rack so I'm passing the idea forward... Now if I can figure out the best way to get some airflow to lessen my drying time.

Can you drill a couple of holes in the side of the pink triangle in the lower left of the picture to help with the air flow?

But seriosuly, Roger Jennings has a nice video for a home made box:

There are a lot of great videos Roger has up there on this link.

Apparently less than you. You have two forums on which you play, and btw, I'd still like to see Shawn's pic

woop der it is...

You really do not need a 3 sided rack just a nice corner , shelf in the back and on one side.

Yep, dere it is now.

Okay, you probably don't have enough room for a dehumidifier, but how about a filtered fan near the top and a black cloth covered exhaust port on the opposite side near the bottom.

Used to be an article about drying cabinets. Hey Douglas, do you have a copy of yours and John's?

I think the motivating factor behind the move was really a need for a Jam Room, lol.

Now you sound like my wife haha , yeah it's true... 75% for the band space 25% because I want  to add sticker and flatstock printing.

My drums sound amazing on those wood floors in a big open space.

Wasn't much of a move just from one room to another in the same building. 40.00 more for 300 more square footage plus a heater... no brainer.

Well, I have no problems with hobbies, but it's best to separate the 2.  If it's there, it will be a distraction.  You'd be better off using that time to sell, sell, sell.

Other than that, I love the new space and the darkroom project is looking good.
