Printing metallics wet-on-wet
« on: November 14, 2014, 06:23:54 PM »
We have this band that gets 300 tees. All black tees with metallic gold and silver print. Front and back. 2 colors.
I assume we underbase it all white but then is it possible to print the metallic gold and silver wet on wet?
All plastisol, Wilflex Liquid Silver and Union Mirror Gold.

I don't put a base under metallic ink here..... I find if the mesh is correct the base slightly diminishes the look of the metallic. Someone wants a 2 color metallic I would print Gold, flash, then silver with no base.
