Mustang or Camaro

Which one of these cars do you see most often in your neck of the woods... since we have a major highway going pass our shop and I see cars all day 65/35 for mustangs from old to new, camaro's 34% new model 1% older models.  Just writing this I've seen 6 mustangs pass by..... PS make that seven!!

never really paid attention because I really don't like either..the new new mustang is pretty nice, but new cars rarely turn my crank.

I'd rather have a Charger or Challenger personally. I think Dodge did a much better job on the retro look than the other two.

Yep Brad doing art today and looking out the window, had a last minute art change, but I won't be looking out the window the rest of the week LOL

Way more Mustangs, but I bet that way more were, and are produced.
The newer Camaros have really poor visibility through the rear window which may not be helping their cause.

Mustang for sure one pass' here everyday where my shop is its John Deere combines or New Hollands  , John deeres are winning today.

On a 4th floor in an old mill building, I don't see any. But for capturing the retro look, the Dodge Challenger really nailed it (I had the '71 Plymouth Barracuda, same car).

Really like that Challenger. A V-6 is a waste though imo. If you're gonna buy a car like that you absolutely have to upgrade to 8 cylinders. The top of the line one is over 700hp!

That way of thinking may soon be out of date. Everyone is working on getting more power out of less displacement.
Volvo (not known as especially fast and furious or muscular) just developed a 2L inline 4 that with the aid of turbocharging, is cranking out 450 hp. With the weight savings alone, that's another kick in the pants for the power to weight ratio which can also pay off in fuel economy.
Very few folks would get to use the 1300 horsepower that this technology would get out of a 6L version.

They can get the horsepower but not the torque which I think is more of the feel of driving a retro car. The pin you to the seat type of feeling.

I'll take our Tesla anyday over any of those options... and it still has the 'punch' factor through at least 70mph.

Of course, jacking up the Dually, chipping it and putting a huge diesel exhaust stack on it would be nice too.

Back in the day I had a '76 Plymouth Gran Fury ex Police Interceptor with a juiced 440 Magnum, Weekend fun was often loading it up with 4-6 people and going hunting for guys in 5.0L Mustangs, Mustang Muscle heads were always up for a race and the ol' Dodge never let us down. It would pass anything but a gas station.

Definitely Mustangs.  But I drive a 2007 Mustang, so I tend to notice other Mustangs more.

65/66 mustangs have the highest production numbers. Which is why the 66 that is sitting in my garage is still worth nothing
