Deeply saddened; Fresh Cream, Disraeli Gears and Wheels of Fire were a really big deal to me in the day. RIP Jack...

Well that sucks.
There's a good video of Bruce, Baker, Bernie Worrell and Gary Moore playing "White Room" in concert. Gary Moore (RIP) holds his own on guitar, but Jack Bruce still has his voice, and watching him hit all the notes on that fretless bass is amazing.
Work is the curse of the drinking class . . .

Haven't listened to the CD player in my truck for months. ESPN radio sucked so I popped on the CD player. Didn't even know what disk was in. White Room came on. Eleven wasn't loud enough

I bought my first wah-wah pedal so we could do White Room, I think I was 16... We also used to do the long, self-indulgent jams too, though obviously not at the same level as those guys...

My son plays bass, Sunshine of your love was the first lick he really fell in love with.
Jack was super.
If you have a chance to check out "Tom Dowd - The language of music" it has some interesting parts in it about the making of Disraeli Gears.

DUE TO CIRCUMSTANCES COMPLETELY WITHIN MY CONTROL YOU SHOULD GET YOUR OWN TEE SHIRT AND A SHARPIE MARKER BY NOON TOMORROW OR SIMPLY CALL SOMEONE WHO GIVES A SHIRT.
