drone footage of foiling (what I do for fun)
« on: October 26, 2014, 12:53:37 PM »
Check it out! So much fun. A friend of a friend rolled out with a $10k octocopter set up and filmed us on the water. I'm the fool in the white helmet trying not to tangle with the wakeboarder filming with a gopro. Hope everyone is having fun out there. Still summer in sunny San Diego!

Cool stuff.
I have to assume that drones and cameras have opened up a cottage industry of videos of sunbathers avoiding tan lines who used to think that they enjoyed the privacy of their fenced yards.

any links to the good stuff?   :P
That rug really tied the room together, did it not?

Ha!  The drone definitely makes enough noise that it can't be considered stealthy. But I was recently up in a helicopter and as we flew over a large estate the two nude sunbathers by the pool just smiled and gave us a wave. The young ladies didn't seem all that concerned about privacy!

Awesome stuff!

My brother in SF (Alameda actually) has gotten deep into the drones and has a business or two with them.
