Great video.  Does the simple green or mean green or whatever hurt the adhesive?  I have always just used water and the lint comes off just as easily as in the video and takes maybe 3 seconds under a flash, or if the pallets are already warm from a run it is basically instantly tacky again.  I  would be worried adding some kind of soap/solvent would mess with the glue.

I should mention I cut my TexTac about 2/1 with water/glue.  Still works great.  I have been using the same gallon of textac for like 2 or 3 years.

Simple Green doesn't hurt anything here, and makes lint removal that much faster. Dries faster too.

Never done it any other way, we also cut our TexTac... no clue how much as I'm not involved with all that very much any longer.

I like the simple green thing, it seems to be a better tac after the pallets are scrubbed.

Home depot carries simple green.

does this technique work with pallet tape? Or are those that are doing it, just running bare pallets?

Yes, it works, and almost everyone who uses the waterbased stickum, takes advantage of the easy changeover afforded by tape.

I wasn't sure how the pallet tape would react to the simple green.  Going to have to try this, as water alone doesn't seem to work so well.

I put down a dollop and then use a wet paper towel to spread it to got the 50/50 (or so) mix.

Never thought about dye.  I'll have to look into that.

What color seems to be the favorite?

mpot-
I got a sample of that double sided tape when we were first looking
at a new system over spray tack. It is EXPENSIVE compared to what the
guy's are talking about. Unless you are looking at small amounts,
go water based adhesive with pallet tape.

Moose an to the rescue again!

He posted this for me a while back, eye opening.  We do this and never looked back.

Yes,it's uber tacky at first but you find the balance.

Not to steal thunder but pretty sure he got that from an old post of mine. Anyway that's how to roll with that. Cardboard underneath. Mountain of tack on a 16/18!

After reading this board I think I'm going to switch from spray adhesive to wb and I have a couple of questions.
I don't print everyday. I'm planning to card the adhesive onto the pallet. Is there a brand that holds up better to days off?
For pallet tape, would vinyl application tape work ok?
