My R1800 has been tricky to power up for a while. I'd have to press the button a few times, wiggle it a bit to get it on. So I have just left it on. Over the weekend I turned it off by mistake and it would not start back up. I took it apart and found the little contacts on the switch were toast. Here's my remedy for now. I wrapped some copper wire around the contacts and wedged it in with a piece of a toothpick. It's working!
