Dings on a new winged flood bar

We took this out of the box, straight from Workhorse, unwrapped it and put it on press... lowered the flood bar and noticed it was hitting the mesh at a couple points but not others.

Pulled it off and set it aside.

Am I picking nits here or should I be concerned about these spots on the flood bar.

200 grit will fix that up.

But yeah, they shouldn't come like that at all.

Nice to hear WH is sending presses with winged floodbars stock, no reason why any press manufacturer should be shipping straight bars any more i.m.o.

Have them send a new one, should be no charge. Maybe got damaged in shipment. My M&R winged bars came with a flexible edge protector.

personally I would have given workhorse a chance to send new ones before posting here...unless of course you did.

Workhorse's shipping department definitely leaves a lot to be desired.

my first chopper upgrade came to me with all the plastic air fittings broke off due to improper packing... of course they packed the new micro assembly in the same box too, and all the nylon parts of the micros were busted off too.

Phil took care of things really quick and got the fittings shipped out at no cost, but it still was a bummer.
