Polyproylene is what your washout sink is made of for a reason. It will stand up to most any chemical used in the reclaim process. Same thing for brushes, etc made out of it.

Scrubby pads typically fall apart in dehazer, especially the softer ones.

The sponges I linked to up above are seemingly unaffected by chemicals at all. They wear out from general use but I had one in the dehazer bucket for weeks and weeks before I tore it up on and EZ Frame corner.

Let the chemicals do the work and be gentle on the mesh.
