Mesh for Glitter

I know it should be around an 86 (34) for glitter but we have none, only 110's (43's).
Has anyone pushed wilflex silver glitter through the higher mesh? Its a rush job (aren't they always). No time to pick up the lower mesh.

Funny, we have a job this weekend doing the same...


fyi from the tech sheet for  wilflex glitters:

- Meshes between 25-40 t/in (10-15 t/cm) are recommended

we don't have anything between 24 and 110, so we're going to use a 24 mesh.

Unlike inks that are merely really thick and a "tight fit" but may still push through the smaller mesh openings, glitter flakes are rigid and a somewhat fixed size, and are not going to be nearly as cooperative.

If you truly can't switch meshes, perhaps you can switch inks to a shimmer.

Yup makes sense. I realise the glitter is a solid entity .016" I think?

Doesn't Shimmer hold up better than Glitter anyway?

we've done it through a 110 mesh before. It doesn't' clear great, and looks way better through a 40 or 86. but it's possible

Ended up buying in a couple of 86's anyway buddy. Our 110's filtered all the glitter particles out.
