« on: September 18, 2014, 10:58:06 AM »
Waht is the name and who makes the best school bus gold for t-shirts??

I want to p/f/p and make it look good on black t-shirts with out using an underbase.

The one I have now is not doing the job I need.

Thanks for the help.

good luck, any yellow/gold has always had a terrible time with PFP.  I've tried both Wilflex, Union, and a couple others...all with the same result

We've had good luck with Wilflex Super Epic Gold...

works quite well with a pfp.

how many do you have to do... you could always go bullet proof with a pfpfp...

One stroke has a very nice gold ink but it's high price for me anyway and it covers very good

I would use Union Maxopake Golden Yellow. On the auto i would hit 2x, flash, hit 1x, 156 mesh. Thin ink slightly with curable reducer.

I got 5 different golds to try from my Wilflex dealer.  I was not happy with any of them.

I did try the One Stroke.  It looks good with 3 coats of ink.

I tried the Maxopake several years ago and it did not do the job I need.

There used to be a company Plastic-meric (bad spelling).

They had a GREAT gold ink for what I needed.  Too bad they sold out to Wil-flex. :-\ :-\

And the search goes on........

Our plastisol ink line is made by a former plastomeric chemist.  Do you happen to know the product code of the gold ink you use to get? I can have it made up for you if it isn't already one of our stock colors.

Why are you fighting a white base if it makes your life easier and the prints better? If the answer is you're only running a dozen like I do a lot, I understand. I'd then put it on a 140 (125 or maybe even 110 on fleece), and have pretty good results with IC p-f-p
That rug really tied the room together, did it not?
