anyone ever built a screen holder for emulsioning?

I had one made similar to Tony's (years ago) but was spring loaded on the bottom. Angle iron on top and bottom to hold

Vastex just came out with a new one like a week ago.  I haven't seen it in person yet though.  Looks pretty nice.

What does one of these cost? I am actually going to be enclosing our "dark room" and want to get more efficient in there and not break my back coating.

You have to flip the screen manually.

Binky, get on it! I see it in my head should be pretty simple for a guy like you to make tow pivot points, each with a locking pin. The way I see it, once the screen is locked in, it should stay locked in until you're done coating.

Your gowing to laugh but Tony posted a picture of one a while back, then seen Saati's. I half assed built one with a spring loaded clamp you would release with your foot. Had idea for an auto clam one with an air cylinder. Then I found coating with one hand and a 5 gallon bucket was a whole lot faster and easier. It has since been taken apart and used for other "gadgets".

Can be very consistent this way, otherwise larger than a normal auto screen I would say needs stabilization.
