laser system
« on: September 11, 2014, 09:14:24 AM »
Anyone have a suggestion for a laser system that will work in both the Load or unload location on my Sportsman auto?  So it can be used with one operator or 2 I think it needs to be moveable?

I've seen a couple, I don't want a battery operated one , and I want to be able to use it in both load and unload locations , I saw one that looked good but needed to be attached to ceiling , which is fine for 1 location but not to cover both.

Binky, can't any battery operated device like this be easily used with an AC adapter (or adapted to be used with an adapter?)

May not be so elegant, but will meet the needs of those who want it.

btw, what kind of batteries do your units use?
That rug really tied the room together, did it not?

Any of them can be AC or battery or both. The little ones use an external battery back with a short cord and mounting tape. The big one is the only one with an internal battery case but can be ordered for AC or both using an external battery pack.

Two AA batteries supply the power and should last at least 30+ hrs continuous use.

There will be a laser system standard on the Sportsman in October. Some are already shipped with lasers. Might want to check out how we did it. A conversion kit is available.

I would highly recomend if you have an M&R machine that a retro fit kit is avaliable for purchase go with the OEM. If not please consider one of our units which is not dedicated to one machine but useful in many aspects of any shop.
