teflon sheets for roller squeegee
« on: August 26, 2014, 10:26:16 AM »
Are the ones on ebay suitable for taping to the underside of a screen?

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Reusable-Heat-Press-Transfer-Sublimation-Sheets-Teflon-Heater-T-Shirt-Rhinestone-/201032248714?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&var=&hash=item2ece74ad8a

How long will a sheet usually last once taped in?

Many thanks  :)

This is not the type that we are using. Ours is a 0.020 inch thick - rigid piece.

yes it will work. I found it better than the action ones (original atleast) as it wasn't as heavy. I've had mine on since I bought the roller squeegee (maybe a year ago). message me your UPS number and I'll send you a piece that I use.

I have been using a piece of lexan under a screen that's clamped in with the screen...no mesh in the screen, theres enough flex there to do the job...the one from action that I got would not ad hear to the bottom of my screen very well I tried everything just short of super glue...lol just another thought

Is there issues with the print releasing from the Teflon? I read some of the reviews on Actions website and it said once they "dialed it in" it was great.

We are always glad to hear from our customers who have ways to improve products. The Roller Squeegee has a been huge success and we have only heard exceptionally positive results.
I am not convinced that a change is necessary or beneficial at the present time.

Looking forward to the delivery of the squeegee roller. Had a breakthrough today with the hand feel and hoping the squeegee will improve the fibre issue on some of the more 'testing' garments.

That's awesome. Are there any issues with the print releasing from the Teflon sheet after being rolled?

There have not been issues with the shirt lifting unless the Teflon isn't fully adhered to the screen.

Actually teflon sheets for baking is almost all you can find online;) Amazon are big on teflon baking sheets as far as I can remember. The one from Action is unfortunately just far too heavy.
