Anyone  ever print on acrylic or plexiglass? Would a solvent ink work?
Anything I need to know?

I think last time we printed acryclic we called nazdar, and asked, and yes we used a solvent based ink, but I can't remember the ink number

Unless things have changed since the last time I've used those types of inks, get lots of retarder and invest in a quality respirator.

Agreed that Nazdar would be the place to call.

Most solvent inks will bite in fine. I use anything from vinyl ink to pad printing inks loaded with some butyl cellosolve (retarder)

Nasdar will no doubt have several suitable inks.

Another issue can be static.

In another life, I printed flat stock. I used a purpose-built spray and wiped. Nazdar may be able to guide you on this as well.

Of course, test first but I have found that lacquer works on most acrylics (printed some yesterday).
True that... use retarder instead of thinner. I use NazDar 7600 series. Works great and doesn't have
the horrible odor of vinyl.
