Can`t get my discharge golden yellow to work

Pantone 123, CCI discharge base with extra pigment load all mixed according to their mixing software. Tried all sorts of activator load, 4%,5% up to 8% it just all looks nothing like golden yellow. Rather like a greenish pale yellow.
The back of the shirts looks all Ok, discharge red, white works well on the same shirt too.
That`s on black 100% cotton tees.
Any idea what the reason might be?

Yellows are the most finicky colors for dc and most prone to shifting. That's why we use lemon yellow when testing garments for dischargeability. I don' use CCI but theres a simple fix for this.

What you are seeing is the red pigment get chewed up by the ZFS.  Fluorescent red pigment is not destroyed as easily by the ZFS activator.  So you will not see as much color shift when discharged.

You will still need to mix to a more orange shade in order to hit your pms 123 target.

I have done both, red pigment and fluorescent pigment.  Depending on the shade needed.... you might use both.

I've pulled off a golden yellow discharge in the past with Matsui inks, but if I recall correctly in order to get there the color in the bucket ended up pretty much orange.  Definitely one of those colors that what you see is not what you will get, and took me a while to get to.  I have a formula if you'd like it, but it was using the PC color system.  Let me know.

My formula for 123 contains no red.

Try 15% pigment load; 90.6% Yellow, 9.4% Warm Red. 4% Activator.
This is out of the book for 1235, however, it generally lightens closer to 123.

We have used CCI "Premium" Dbase and mixed PMS 137 that lightened to an athletic gold. 85g base 13g yellow 2g warm red, go with 3% activator.

I know Rutland does not offer a orange WB pigment, or at least they do not as of my semi-recent searches.

Maybe some one can chime in with a company that offers a nice orange pigment?

We tried all above mentioned suggestions already yesterday, apart from using fluoro red pigs. Using orange pigs got us something between brown and golden yellow, kind of dirty looking color.
Have to say the original mix we used came out perfect on a different style of black shirt by the same manufacturer.
