Take a look at this online (http://www.t-p-software.net/defaultSP.php) software called Touch Point Screen Printing to help manage the manufacturing process. It is purely a workflow package and very reasonably priced. There is a Pro version which really allows one to adapt it to exactly their needs. You can sign up for a free trial.

I have been using this program for a few years to run my production and couldn't work without it.
Our printers know that once all the yellow boxes are filled they can print.
Because its in the cloud all our departments can be working on it at the same time.
We've made changes over the years  and the headings can be changed to suit your needs, for example we have a delivery date as well as a shipping date.       If it takes two days to ship we make the shipping date two days before the delivery date. 
In the order details we write where the graphics is filed and  it's easy to look it up, under instructions we enter any special printing information as well as colors.    The program keeps all the information on file and it's easy to look it up when reprinting.
It keeps everything in order and we rely on it for running our plant.
