Rutland WB ink system, free to good home!!
« on: July 08, 2014, 10:25:09 PM »
NOTE: sorry if this is the wrong subforum, but I didn't think it qualified as classified, as I was not selling. Any feel free to move if needed, just wanted to make sure everyone saw it and didn't have to jump through hoops.. Thanks!

Anyway...I have a Rutland waterbase setup that I'm never gonna use, but hate the thought of dumping it. I counted thirteen pint containers in the box, but one is a lubricant and one is a penetrant, so maybe 11 pigments? I tried to use this once, but the white pigment was kinda chunky so I gave up, and have moved to a different system. Also have two gallons of unopened bases to go with it. Might be good for someone to get their feet wet in WB inks (hhhaaa...see what I did there, eh?), or maybe someone can still go thru it and use what is good (granted, I didn't spend much time re-stirring the white pigments.

...anyone wants it, send me a UPS#. Weighs 40 pound and ships from the 30907 zipcode
Thanks TSB gang!!

...Sean, Mr Tees!!!

The PCs at higher concentration need to be filtered you can just put a piece of screen mesh on the bottle screw it down it will filter out the chunks for you. I have to agree that any ink system should be ready to use out of the container more or less however there has to be some limitations I suppose to higher concentrate PCs. The Rutland system is a pretty good system honestly I would give it another try.

...ALEX/TCT was first one in, so he gets dibs!

...Alex, I just realized that you may not have gotten my last coupla messages. I assume this because I don't see them in my "sent" box. I will put my email in my profile, contact me that way when you see this. Would love to take you up on our trade deal, but need your addy!!

ADMINS: my sent box only shows my last outgoing PM in april, but I have PM'ed a bunch since the, including several with Alex last week. Is there an issue with the PM system that I am unaware of? Or am I doing something wrong suddenly?
Thanks TSB gang!!

Did you get my PM? I sent it like 42 seconds after you PM'd me(had my phone in my hand).

Hopefully I'll never have to grow up and get a real job...
