Epson 1430 with T-Rip
« on: June 28, 2014, 03:43:25 PM »
I'm printing a file through t-rip and it's only printing say half of the image and then spitting out the rest of the film unprinted.  Can anyone guide me in the right direction on how to fix this?

In case you haven't, make sure the paper size setting in your rip program is correct.  If it's set to 8.5x11, and you're trying to print an 11x17, it would only print half the image.  I use Accurip and the settings in there override any settings in the program I'm outputting from.

That's not the issue.  I have it set right in there, and it's printing in the 11" x 17"  I think it has something to do with sending the information to the printer.  A pop up box said communication error.

Try shutting down and re starting. Sometimes that can clear out any errors. Sounds like a program glitch.

I had just restarted the program and computer when it happened.  I first installed the program last week, and the first 2 times trying to print this has happened.

You might try re installing the software.
Something didn't take tight. Look at all preferences.

I don't know for sure, I. Just guessing but wen glitchy things happen to printers, a restart or re install works most of the time. Sometimes a preference setting needs to checked or unchecked. Stuff like that.
