Does anyone here use one of these? We are thinking about putting one in where our employees work, so in front and behind the dryer.
i don't mind if the ac running, but i don't want to invest in something that cant handle the work.
Texas gets HOT.

We have one and it kicks a$$!!!! Actually seems to work better than the central air we have up front. My biggest regret is I went cheep when I bought it and didn't think long term, the unit I got can only handle 1 unit. I have seen some where the condenser can support like 5 or 6 wall units. I would look at a multiple split unit for sure!
But they are NICE.

We have the Mitsubishi split units in our offices. They work well. They are 12 years old and have not had any problems. We don't cool the production area though, just the offices. With a dryer running at over 350 degrees it seems counter productive to pay to try and cool the space.

As a HVAC installer for 25+ years I can tell you these things work the same as a central AC. Most central AC systems are not installed with the correct return air size and supply. The thing with these is no duct work for a installer to screw up. If you buy a condenser for multi evaporators(indoor unit) buy the one where the run all at one time. If you buy on that will work as zones there has been some major issues with some of the control boards and sensors.
