screened transfers (on nylon goods)

To do a screened transfer, that goes on a nylon material, do i have to use nylon bond ink?

I have never done transfers on nylon, but for direct printing, the bondy gook is usually only needed on waterproofed type nylons, not jerseys.

all you need is the transfer powder. It's hot melt glue and will keep the transfers stuck to nylon, even if it's coated.

Nylon inks with the adhesive also have a little better abrasion resistance than straight plastisol.  Nylon transfers are the way to go for intricate detail.  Ink is completely cured on release paper and a low temp powder is needed. We applied the powder to a low temp backer, clear or white, when it was wet, then ran through the oven.

Cool, these are going on some fanny packs for a client. Typically we'd do a digitally printed transfer for this, but the detail is to difficult to weed!
