Thought process of a 2 year old
« on: August 15, 2011, 03:36:28 PM »
If my nails look pretty in pink, then my whole body would look pretty in pink...

and yes, I got it off the floor.  Natural stone tiles too, so no harsh solvents.  Seriously, rubbing alcohol is the greatest cleaner ever.

Heres a good one. We had a huge jar of Vaseline for coating shock seals on my buddies race car and my 2 year old at the time decided to put all of it in her hair. Talk about a pain in the ass to get out. It was nasty.

Yep..... Mom puts on pearl earings.
Maybe they'd look good jammed way down a two year-olds ear canal ?  (not).
It took three nurses and one tightly wrapped blanket to restrain the two year old during the extraction.

I forgot on Friday my current two year old decided she wanted to see what was at the bottom of a 5 gallon bucket of Quick White. I had my head turned for a second and she was elbow deep in that crap. I think I caught her  in the initial dive in. Last time she is allowed by the ink bench for a while.

Goo gone?  that stuff ir rough.

I laid that floor while my wife was expecting, so it isn't that old.  Still, all I could do was grab the camera and snap some shots.  I figured it could get it off the floor, but I wouldn't be able to explain it really well.

The cutest part was she grabbed some paper towels and started scrubbing the floor.  Even after it was clean, she started using baby wipes on the kitchen floor too.

don't get too upset at her -I have ALWAYS wanted to do that. . .

I have 3 and 5 year-old boys. Older one (just turned 5 last week) is OK around machine, wants to help. But the younger one, that is a different story. I can not turn around for 2 seconds with him downstairs, he is obsessed with the embroidery machine.

Homer, congrats..... manny sleeples nights are due in September :)

I still remember years ago when my middle son was a toddler. We had a little toilet seat that fit on the regular one to make training (the kids, not me) easier. Well, I got a frantic call from my wife, and I could heat the crying in the background. Seems you can fit a toilet seat over your head easier than you can off your head. She said my son was panicking and she didn't know what to do. Well of course the first thing I said was, "Go get the camera". Everything came out fine...my older son, calmed his little brother down, and with a little Vasaline, my wife got the seat off. Oh yeah, I don't think she even took a picture!
