Hi everyone,
I was considering of buying a DTG printer and searched from all over the world. Finally I found out some DTG printer manufacturers. Here is one from Asia.www.tshirtprinterkr.com It attracted me by its low price. What do you think about? Or should I turn to the local market?

If you buy a DTG printer from "Asia" I would really go for Brother or Epson. Do yourself a favour and do not buy the Chinese or Korean product, you will end up with no support.

rockers is correct.  I can tell you from the little I have needed support, Brother is killer.  The guy in the phone support department goes above and beyond.  Sending followup emails, updated documentation, etc.

Remember, this is where the Fast T-jet came from...an asian company that was making shirt printers, it didn't work out so well for US Screen Print

You've probably heard about getting what you paid for. A cheap price usually means cheap product. We have a Brother, and because they built their machine from the ground up instead of re-purposing a desktop Epson, they have less problems. That being said Epson's latest is built from the ground up for shirts...

Right now I wouldn't bother with anyone other than Brother or Kornit. Prices are coming down and production numbers from these machines are getting better. Once they start to level off it's time to buy, but not before i.m.o.

attracted by it's low price..  you're going to learn a very hard lesson when you buy equipment in this trade just because it's lowest priced.

You have been warned.

Just as a reference.. my company now owns 8 Kornit Avalances because of what they do for us.. not because of how much they cost

Ask Hirsh or go direct with Kornit, I hear they have some nice terms.
