New Year's resolution- Clean out back room
« on: December 28, 2014, 02:21:16 PM »
To all that know me I am a pak rat of Guinness worthy storytelling.  I made a promise to my wife that I would start cleaning out the Mind's Eye Graphics storage room of all the screenprinting and other things I have purchased over the years and I need to start somewhere, I have almost NEVER sold anything I bought and could not say no to a deal therefore we can't walk through the warehouse and it has become a liability because I can't store new junk due to the old I have accumulated.

With that said, are these classifieds worth the time to document my 'treasures' and if any members would share what they have learned about how to get the most out of the process I would appreciate it.

Happy New Year.

The section you chose tells the story. "Classify" the things you wish to sell, maybe pics of some of the gems (or white elephants) and post the list. Make sure to tell folks your shipping policy, and/or location.

That rug really tied the room together, did it not?

We move stuff in and out on a continuous flow. Tend to use cl, ds, ebay, depending on what it is and what level we think the buyer is at. Only thing never sold was a Epson 7600 with dead print head.

Have a bunch to go up after New Years. 18x20 newmans, db30, red flash, static 18x20, etc. so we will do a " level assessment" and post accordingly.

Really looking forward to checking out the list of treasures, Greg!

I'm guessing CL = Craigslist and DS = Digitsmith.  But I vote for posting it all on TSB instead!   ;D

This section is usually used to list things for sale, and am frankly a little surprised to see it used as a place to discuss places to use instead!
Instead? The answer is clear, with a little early bird listing right here where the help is being offered , then

That rug really tied the room together, did it not?
