« on: April 01, 2014, 02:51:43 PM »
Just had a customer that we did a girls fast pitch team jerseys for tell me my union lime green is not the correct color Hmmm.  Break down they are part of a league so they bring us all there orders, this one team ask for lime green print white outline on black jerseys ok we print using our color chart from union inks lime green.  They get there stuff and comes running over here talking about our lime green is wrong it don't match there socks they bought else where which are label in some book they ordered from lime green when they are actually safety green.  From now on before I take any girls ball team they must come in look at and pick an color from our ink supply  ok rant is over LOL

problem with going off other people's colors.

i love it when people ask for blue.  I default to blue 072 since to me that is pure blue...then I let them decide if they want it lighter or darker.

Many people think a named color is an exact color. I hear it all the time. Kelly, Royal, Blue, Red, Cardinal, Gold Yellow, ………….. yet you order any one of them colors from three different threads or ink supplier and none would match.

There you go Andy, what they should have done was try and match there socks with our standard ink colors, sure we can mix inks but ain't no way in the world I'm going to color match league teams.
