I would bet that you will be saying you made the right decision shortly after getting the Sportsman. There is a free training course on the press if you would like here at M&R as well.

Ah the age ol question...lol...First auto that i've ever had or used was the javelin...great press, out of the five years ive never had a problem minus the print and flip cyclinders which is going to happen, anything that i've ever needed phil was/is great to work with. which in turn led me into the field of the sabre. i'm not going to get rid of my javi so ten color was the next best choice to turn to..I knew i wanted servo, and ac heads falcon was out of the price range, (red)..well i'm not going to go there. I know of at least 5 presses in my area and they could not get one shop to open there doors to let me see it in action and talk to the owners. I thought long and hard on the Sabre, great looking press, along with support on the phone with phil if it goes like it does with the javi would be really good. The 2 factors that lead me to choose M&R...Reliability-and techs...There is no proven reliability with this sabre press. the demo press had big numbers on it...but there dry cycling it. there were no companies that had run them in the real world running production that i could talk to. To hear the goods and bads of this press. And on site techs if there is something that goes wrong with it. I think there are 5-7 techs. And there selling this press pretty good so that left me in kind of a bind. Suppose i get this press and have something happen. Do i have to wait for one of the techs thats probably on an install to hit my door? Hence the M&R well T&J that sold me the press have been great, they come into my shop every second or third week to check my supplies or just to chat even. Both matts that are in my area have ran big production with these presses...they have been printing for a long time they know the process the ins and outs of production and setting this press up even and also got me into a shop using Blue for me to take a look at around here. So to have them stopping in even once a month is a huge relief to be honest...and if for some odd reason if there busy M&R is just up the road bout 2.5hrs away...an one thing i've never seen on any of the forums that i've always lurked on is that Blue is hard to get ahold of...Heck Rich being the first person to respond to my post shows me what kind of a company they are. Nothing and i mean nothing against workhorse they have always treated me good...sorry for the rant..it just comes down to no reliability on production numbers or feed back...with the sabre being a brand new press...that thing could be the greatest thing since bubble gum but we wont know for sure for a few more years and feed back that we all hear...thanks

We will have three different series of automatics as well as our "yellow screen room" showing coating, imaging, exposing, and rinsing out the image all done by one person at a run rate of 400 pieces per 8 hours. Gotta see it to believe it.

is it really one guy when all the 'guy' is doing is moving a physical screen from one station to the next and pressing a button???

*ducking*

Honestly tho, I can't wait till we're at the point that we're ready//can afford to have all the cool technology in our shop, and the orders to back it up...  for now, I like to dream big.

time to give a little shout out there about this press...all i can say is wow...first off the press is only as good as the installer...and i'll give a shout out to felix up there at M&R...He is the man when it comes to install, top notch, man does he have that thing tuned so smooth...little over a week running production and just getting ready to turn 7 thousand prints already with 2 presses running. Now that i've gotten my feet wet running this thing its great...i'm sure ive only scratched the surface..ran a few revolver jobs seems easy enough so far course i'm not gonna run all 9 stages of it..lol javi is primary for simple bullet proof prints m&r for sim. process and so...registration is great well heck its everything the sales man said and then some..wish i felt this good about a purchase like this with the cars ive bought...i only see good things from this press...now the only problem is i need more space with the jobs my companies have seen an in return have upped our production. Thanks Rich...steller company and killer installers...(crash) was great and props to T&J matts been great at showing in the ins and outs of this machine...
