new to vinyl cutting I can wing a price but on line $ are all over for kinda the same thing....so
50 pieces cut vinyl 4 x 4 inches one color typical weeding effort what is a reasonable price ?

Would be a buck an inch or 4 bucks each with a little wiggle room lowest I would go is $2.50

$4 for that sounds about right.
Some of our other pricing that can be a rough guideline for you:
We do names ~12" x 2" for $6-$8ea. depending on quantity.
4" numbers $2/digit
6" - $2.50/digit
8" - $3.00/digit
10" - $4.00/digit
12" - $5.00/digit
